Barclays 100 x 100 funding

Capital City Partnership has been awarded £100,000.00 from Barclay’s 100x100 programme to support vulnerable people impacted by COVID-19 and to alleviate the associated social and economic hardship caused by the crisis.

The funding will aim to support 500 families experiencing poverty across Edinburgh, providing essentials for families based on their needs. The Barclays 100x100 programme is delivered in partnership with Children 1st, CHAI and the Maximise! Project.

Projects funded Include:

  •  Dnipro Kids - funding to support food costs for families who have arrived from Ukraine and the creation of an outdoor play and picnic area for the families.
  • CHAI -  discretionary fund to support families engaging with Maximise! who are experiencing a crisis or emergency.
  • WHALE Arts - funding to contribute to a small grants programme using participatory budgeting methods via the Go Beyond project in South West Edinburgh.
  • Sighthill, Stenhouse, Calderglen, Hailesland and Gilmertson Early Years Centres - a discretionary fund to support families in need or facing crisis.
  •  pRESPECT
