our families

East Lothian's Our Families project is part of the Edinburgh and South East Scotland Intensive Family Support Service.

Our Families is a partnership approach between Children 1st, East Lothian  Council, NHS, and the Musselburgh Area Partnership which focuses on children and young people aged 0-12 and their families. The service is based within the Musselburgh East area, working alongside Whitecraig, Wallyford and Pinkie St Peter’s primary schools.

Our Families works with schools to identify families facing multiple challenges, providing comprehensive support to pupils’ families to help improve relationships, increase confidence, support well-being and increase community links as well as providing advice to maximise income, reduce debt, and gain employment.
